Whosit gives you a place for storing contacts that you dont need ready access to, but that you dont want to get rid of.
By allowing you to swipe contacts out of your Contacts app, and into your Whosit archive you can clean up your Contacts app without actually deleting the record. If you need it back, simply swipe it back into your Contacts app.
